- Added new menu option "Save View" (F9) — temporarily stores the current photo view, including filters, sort order, visible files, and the selected photo.

- JpgKeywords is now a 64-bit Windows application (previously 32-bit) and can no longer be installed on 32-bit systems.
- The metadata field used for reading and writing keywords has changed. Prior to version 3.0, the IPTC:Keywords field was used. Starting with version 3.0, the program now uses the XMP-dc:Subject field for keywords.
- Keywords are now cached (previously only thumbnails were cached). As a result, opening directories – even with a large number of files – is now virtually instantaneous.
- Improved thumbnail management. Resizing thumbnails is now instant.
- Added toolbar buttons to change thumbnail size on the fly (also available via Ctrl + Num+ and Ctrl + Num–).
- Improved performance of the "Replace Keyword" operation.
- Added the ability to edit the "Date Taken" value (add/edit/delete).
- Added new statistics grouped by date.
- Added display options in image view: date taken, day of the week, GPS coordinates, and camera model. Also added the ability to open the photo location in Google Maps.
